You dream your reality into being knowingly or unknowingly ...
There was a time when dreams were not dismissed as random images of the sleeping mind.
They were honoured as messages from the soul, the ancestors, the gods, and the deeper intelligence of life itself.
Across the ancient world, dreams were understood as portals of guidance.
Leaders, healers, mystics, and communities turned to dreams before making decisions about healing, hunting, war, fertility, initiation, and the future of the people.
To dream was not only to sleep. To dream was to participate in the living mystery of creation.
This four-week immersion is an invitation to return to that sacred relationship with the dream world.
It will serve as the foundation of a deeper journey into dreams, mythology, archetypal psychology, and shamanic practice.
Who this is course is for...
This course is for those who sense that life is speaking to them through symbols, synchronicities, dreams, and meaningful coincidences—and who feel called to deepen their relationship with that inner world.
Whether you are beginning your exploration of dreams or have been walking a spiritual path for many years, this course offers a grounded and experiential approach to understanding the language of the psyche and living with greater purpose, imagination, and intuition.
This course is especially suited for people who are:
- Curious about Jungian psychology, mythology, dreams, symbolism, and the unconscious.
- Interested in understanding the messages hidden within their dreams and learning how to apply them to everyday life.
- Seeking a deeper connection with their intuition, inner wisdom, and authentic self.
- Navigating a period of transition, uncertainty, loss, or personal transformation, and looking for meaningful guidance.
- Drawn to shamanic practices and contemplative traditions that honour nature, ritual, and the symbolic dimensions of life.
- Wellness practitioners, therapists, coaches, counsellors, yoga teachers, breathwork facilitators, healers, and educators wishing to enrich their personal practice and deepen the way they support others.
- Creative artists, writers, musicians, and visionaries seeking to reconnect with imagination, inspiration, and the wellspring of the creative unconscious.
- Anyone longing to live with greater presence, purpose, and trust in the unfolding journey of their own soul.
No prior experience with Jungian psychology, dream work, or shamanic journeying is necessary—only an open mind, a curious heart, and a willingness to listen deeply to the wisdom that already lives within you.
You dream your reality into being... knowingly or unknowingly ...
Embody the Power of Your Dreams brings together the depth of Jungian psychoanalysis guided by over 5 decades of field experience with Patricia Anne Elwood, and the embodied wisdom of shamanic journeying facilitated by shaman Johnson Chong.
You will learn to listen to dreams not as puzzles to solve, but as living symbolic landscapes that can guide your healing, creativity, relationships, decisions, and sense of purpose.
In Jungian psychology, dreams reveal the language of the unconscious. They show us the hidden patterns, archetypes, wounds, instincts, and unrealised possibilities moving beneath the surface of our lives.
In shamanic traditions, dreams and journeys are pathways into the unseen world, where we can meet guides, retrieve power, receive teachings, and return with medicine for ordinary life.
Together, these two approaches offer a profound way to live symbolically: to recognize that the images, myths, archetypes, and recurring patterns in our dreams are not separate from our waking life. They are invitations from the soul.
Over 4 weeks, you will explore the foundations of dream work through Jungian psychology and shamanic practice. You will discover how dreams communicate through symbol and myth, learn to recognize the archetypal forces shaping your life, and experience practices that help transform insight into embodied wisdom.
This is not a course about escaping reality. It is a course about bringing the wisdom of the dream into reality.

Your Guides on this Journey
Patricia Elwood
Jungian Psychoanalyst
Patricia is a Jungian analyst, author and seminar leader with over 5 decades of research into the personal and collective unconscious. A post-graduate of the C.G. Jung Institute, she completed her diplomas in analytical psychology for children, adolescents and adults, and now lives and practices in Lausanne, Switzerland. Patricia has taught in universities and worked across clinical and educational fields, guiding professionals from diverse disciplines in the exploration of psyche, symbol and individuation.
She has travelled the world, and had numinous initiations with the indigenous shamans of the Arctic and Siberia. She is the author of A Jungian Approach to Spontaneous Drawing, a respected work that demonstrates how spontaneous imagery and drawing can reveal archetypal patterns, release unconscious blockages and reconnect individuals to the deeper intentions of the soul.
A lifelong traveller of the inner and outer realms, Patricia’s work bridges Jungian psychology with reverence for indigenous wisdom traditions and the collective human search for wholeness. She believes that true wellness arises when the ego aligns with the deeper intention of the unconscious, allowing individuals to live creatively, consciously and in service to the greater whole. In times of transition, her work invites people onto the path of individuation — not as egoism, but as the courageous journey toward higher awareness, unity and meaningful participation in the human tribe.
Patricia is currently based in Switzerland.

I loved starting the day with a good yoga practice and breathwork. You really feel so energised after that. I know quite a lot about nutrition already, but coming to the retreat showed me that there is so much more to learn. If I had to summarise this retreat in one word, it would be self-love.

We’ve done some many amazing things, rafting down rivers, going to temples and seeing so many fascinating things. We did a number of workshops every day, and the shamanic journeys were something I’ve never done before. You can actually feel the energy move through your body. I would happily do it all over again.

The biggest highlight was my visit to the fertility temple, as I am currently going through a journey in that area. Through this trip, I really started thinking about this yin/yang balance. And my biggest takeaway is to shift my consciousness to more of my feminine side so that I have more balance.

Bhutan is magical and very beautiful. I came here with no specific things in mind. I didn’t know what to expect. I learned a lot about myself. I learned about the attachments, fears and my personality. It was enlightening for me, and now I am feeling freer from those attachments.
Cahê Toporowicz
Brazil
It has been really intense, but I feel that I can connect with my true essence now. During these 10 days, we did yoga, meditation, walked to sacred temples and connected inwards through shamanic journeys to clean our energy bodies. I would highly recommend this trip if you’re wanting to reconnect with your true inner self.

Johnson did an incredible job bringing a group of diverse people from multiple countries, and it’s just been a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend taking this journey with an experienced team of people like we have. It makes the experience so much richer to have the guidance of people who can bring the community together and make it relatable.
Diana Schmidt
North Carolina, USA
What I learned from some of the workshops that we were doing was that I am exactly where I need to be in my life. And that is something that I normally struggle with, comparing myself with others. I ended up in Bhutan for a reason. It had a very profound impact on how I look at my life.
Artem Gorobets
Sydney, Australia
The shamanic journeys were extremely profound for me. I feel like Johnson is truly a channel to the spirit world. What surprised me about this retreat was the connections with the people in the group. It was beyond my wildest dreams.
Sarah Bright
Sydney, Australia
What I learned about myself was how much fear I had before coming on retreat. But also how much strength and tenacity I have in going through this journey and these beliefs. I think this journey has been transformative. It has been really magical and heartfelt for me.
Joel Low
Singapore
What I found really healing is that Johnson was able to provide the space and compassion for me to let go of the family ancestry that was so abusive, without being invasive. He didn’t tell me how to do it, he allowed me to find it on my own.
